This is Warmly.
“By the grace of $18.69 donated by kiddo_chachaji, we could cook and provide Kheer (Pudding) for Asif. In conversing with him, he also told me this would be enough to treat his crew of 4 cleaners and construction workers.”

Why Warmly?
Migrant construction workers in Singapore immigrate from all across India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.
Due to their low pay (roughly 600-700 SGD—rarely enough for housing rent), workers have to compromise on their food, relying on their source of nutrition from low-cost caterers. These meals are delivered twice a day, once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. As workers settle into their evening shifts often lasting 4+ hours, their food is left uncollected in the scorching Sun. As a result, many workers receive rancid food for dinner. Unable to eat and far away from home and family, they are left to sleep with empty stomachs and underwhelmed hearts.
In June 2023, I saw this firsthand when I was delivering prasad (offering) made by my Mother downstairs to the construction workers in my condominium. They gracefully accepted my offerings and informed me about the rancid packets of food they recieve.
How a kind gesture supported a major problem they faced in their life.
We need to promote equity within our society if we truly want to call it “Our Singapore.” Warmly is motivated to feed the mouths that build our city skylines.
